Repairs

We repair desktop PCs, iMacs, laptops and MacBooks. When it comes to fixing computers, there's not much we can't do.

  • Smashed screens
If your laptop screen is cracked, even if it's smashed to smithereens, it is often a straightforward job to swap it for a new one. And remember, all our work comes with a 3 month warranty, so why not give us a call now for a free quote.
  • Sloooowing doooowwnnn
If your computer is slowing down we can help. There are a few things that can be done, from clearing system junk and stopping eager applications from automatically starting, to upgrading the hardware in key areas so your system can run newer, more demanding software without breaking a sweat.
  • Back from the brink
If your computer is completely unresponsive, it isn't necessarily the end. We will take a look and find the source of the problem. The hard drive might be finished, or it might just be a faulty memory stick. Whatever it is we can fix it, and in the case of a dead hard drive, we will do what we can to retrieve your data for you.
  • Clogged up
Over time computers suck in a lot dust which forms an insulating blanket covering the electrical components and clogging the fans and the heat-sinks. This can lead to overheating and unusual behaviour, like the computer spontaneously restarting. We can give computers a thorough (and gentle) clean to extend their lifespan.
  • Replacement batteries
The more a battery is charged, the less charge it can hold. If your laptop's battery is running out quicker than you'd like, give us a call and we'll be glad to advise you on your best options to replace it and tell you how to get the most juice for your buck...
  • Broken power jacks
A common problem with laptops is the socket where the power cable plugs in breaking and preventing the power jack from connecting properly with the laptop. Replacing them is a bit fiddly but doesn't take too long.
